Might be turning back to the dark side...
Hello,
I'm Nick, mostly an MR2 guy as of late. But I've had a couple of RX-7's as well. 1987 Base (.65 liter, no compression in one of the rotors), but I still drove it a few times on the street :D 1988 Vert (Panda model from what I'm seeing now). I consider this my first car. I was given a Buick and picked up the 87 for $500, but the Buick lasted about 2 weeks before I needed out, and the 87 wasn't really drive-able. Then I moved on to a bunch of different cars: 1988 300ZX Turbo SS (Shiro Special) 1990 300ZX Twin Turbo 1991 240SX Hatch 2003 Kawasaki ZX-6 1993 MR2 Turbo 1994 MR2 Turbo 1998 MR2 NA 1992 MR2 Hardtop (Stripper Model) 1987 MR2 Silvertop 20V 1993 240SX Hatch 1995 MR2 NA XXXX Hopefully another MR2 or possibly another FC - Get back to where it all started... Posting on here because I need to get my post count up to PM a member :icon_tdow Maybe I'll be seeing some of you around more on this board. - Nick |
Hahah. Honestly, same here.

Hey, Nick. I had an 87 MR2 Supercharged. It was a rocket ship. Wish I still had it. It had 150K miles and would still do 145MPH. It was scary. RX's are fun too though.

Good man; get back to the sevens. I bought mine 2 years ago, blown up. Drove it for a year and a half. Bought a miata, missed the rotaries; traded for another blown rx7. Lasted one week. Finally got my first rx7 running again... ( I've also sold it four times, but it comes back after a day.)
No other car has the charm that an rx7 has. |
Welcome!
