Lurker in the rotary world

I've been lurking the rotary world for about 2 years now. Learning as much as I can about them and proper maintenance and how they function. I want a FD, so I've focused most of my time researching them and how to keep them healthy and all their imperfections.
My goal is to have a FD for touge and track. So, I am not financially ready admittedly to own a FD but I want to be prepared as much as possible for the time I do have money to buy one. I'm sure most would recommend I start with a easier one but I am stubborn and
pretty determined to jump into a car as testy as a FD.

Any advice I'll appreciate cause I plan on buying one this year. And I would like to daily it as much as possible, because why not drive your race car.

Welcome. I've had three FDs within the last 12 years. My first one was not in the best shape and it was a headache. I learned a lot about the car though, but it hurt my pocket $$$. My advise is to find one that's the color you want and as complete as possible. Once you accept you're going to spend a lot of money on the car, you'll be fine. Don't half ass it, or else you'll have a bad time. Good luck.

Thank you, thats my current plan. Find the best shape car I can afford and refine it from there.
