Lurker in the rotary world
I've been lurking the rotary world for about 2 years now. Learning as much as I can about them and proper maintenance and how they function. I want a FD, so I've focused most of my time researching them and how to keep them healthy and all their imperfections.
My goal is to have a FD for touge and track. So, I am not financially ready admittedly to own a FD but I want to be prepared as much as possible for the time I do have money to buy one. I'm sure most would recommend I start with a easier one but I am stubborn and pretty determined to jump into a car as testy as a FD. Any advice I'll appreciate cause I plan on buying one this year. And I would like to daily it as much as possible, because why not drive your race car. |
Welcome. I've had three FDs within the last 12 years. My first one was not in the best shape and it was a headache. I learned a lot about the car though, but it hurt my pocket $$$. My advise is to find one that's the color you want and as complete as possible. Once you accept you're going to spend a lot of money on the car, you'll be fine. Don't half ass it, or else you'll have a bad time. Good luck.
