Long time RX7 fan
I’m lucky to have bought a “almost” rust free 1984 GSL-SE in December of 22 in tender blue with around 125k miles. I drove it most of last summer while tidying up the interior, getting the AC working and general cleaning and upgrading. As of now it’s in pieces in order to paint it and go through the engine. My goal is to be driving it this summer. With the incredible amount of parts I’ve removed, I figured it might be a good idea to write this intro so I can ask questions if it doesn’t start when I try.
Thanks for your time Kevin |

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your new RX-7! I love the GSL-SE in Tender Blue Metallic and the new paint on your car looks incredible! Do you know any of the car's prior history?

Yes the history of the car is well documented. It was originally purchased in Appleton, WI at Behm imports. The second owner bought it in 1985. He kept it Green Bay WI and drove it in the summers for 37 years. I bought it in Dec of 2022. I have organized as much of the records as I could and am adding to the folder with every parts purchase. I'm going to start a build thread in the first gen section to document what I've been doing. Stay tuned.

It's awesome that you know the car's history! Having that info is just the icing on the cake when owning a car! I will definitely look forward to seeing the thread in the builds section!!
