Long Time Lurker, First Time Poster w/FB

Hi Everyone.

I've had my 1985 RX-7 GSL for about a year now. I originally purchased it as a project to keep me busy while on furlough from working. While working with it, I kept finding the best write-ups and how-to's here, so I figured it was about time to create an account. I've always wanted a rotary vehicle, but just happened upon this one locally, and couldn't pass it up.

Welcome!!! That's a beautiful 85!!! Do you know any of the car's history? What part of Ohio are you from? I'm 20 minutes East of Cedar Point. I host a rotary meet every summer at my place. Its a great time and if you're interested I can send you a pm with details.

Thanks!

All I know is that the previous owner had it in Toledo for the last 10-12 years and at some point 3-5 years ago it had an engine rebuild done. It also has had louvers on the back for a long time, which I removed for now. I am trying to make some brackets for them, so they are more easily able to be installed and removed when I want. I'm also in the Toledo area, so not too far from you for a little road trip.

Right now, I'm going through and fixing all of the minor leaks and squeaks. I spent the fall going through and fixing wiring issues and putting the interior back together. It just got a new water pump, hoses, related belts and seals. The more I drive it, the more I'm finding the little leaks and such, but it is so easy to work on.
