Hi my name is Josh. I own an 85 RX7 GS 12a 1.1 liter. Love this car. My dad gave it to me as a gift for Graduation. He owned it for 10 years before he gave it to me. I've had it for the past ten as well. I've been a club member for some time but this is defiy first post (obviously). I've only owned this car and nothing else. It's my first car and hopefully my last. I've never been able to say I haven't had an issue with it and I hope with that I've already learnt from this site I'll reach that goal. Thanks for reading hope to make some good friends soon and many connections. I'm not that knowledgeable as a mechanic I just hope with all the lessons I've experienced with my car il be able to pass along my knowledge.

Hey Josh, congrats on taking over the car. Now, I want you to go back to the part where you said the "its my first car and hopefully my last" and take out the "hopefully my last" lol. I am sure with your love of the rotary, you will one day graduate to a FD, not necessarily for the looks but for the speed. Zoom Zoom lol

Haha well then It will be the last car I own. I get you on the speed thing. I'm sure the latest models are of quicker than mine. I'm not so much into the speed thing either though. I guess I'm more of the restoration fan. I mean if someone said "hey let's add some stuff that'll increase your speed" I would be over that. My car has had a few hiccups here and there. My engine is almost completely rebuilt now. Surprised that I've recently have had to remove some original parts (30 years old parts) and I've completely restored my interior minus the carpet and mats (next on my list). I'll have to post some pictures.

I designed the interior myself. Thanks to my awesome upholstery buddy it came to life. Flat black body with driver side orange pearlescent stripes.
