Hi; I'm Chuck Davis. 72 years old, long time Mazda Wankel user.
California, '70s --- RX2, Rotary Pickup, RX3
Virginia, '90s ---- Black RX7 needing repair. [Newspaper Ad. Couldn't let it 'get away']
Picked up a 'parts Car' from a wrecking yard ['79 RX7]. Rejuvenated the Black RX7 with LS Rear end from 'Parts Car'.[Just looked, the Trans. seems to be a 5 speed.]
Sold the Black RX7. Located '80 RX7 AT, dead engine.
2009,finally getting '80 AT worked on, replaced engine, Ignition problems, Now late '10, the plan is to head for California when the '80 gets functional.

I did get away from the Rotarys from '80 -'95 --- The RX7 in the newspaper was just too cheap to let get away. The '80 AT, was to be for my wife [deceased last year]-- it wasn't running at the time. Since found a bad 'ignitor box', but had already swapped the engine. Just repaired the IB, should get on the road this week.
