JDM 1994 RX7 Type R in Kansas City, MO 10K Miles
Hi everyone.
Let me give a proper introduction this time (first attempt I asked for help and I think I have that resolved now). I'm from Kansas City, MO. Lifelong Chiefs fan, and fully believe that no city has better BBQ than KC. Can find me at @KCMO68_510 on Instagram. I bought a 1994 RX7 Type R from Osaka Japan through a broker called TPE, and had it imported to the US. Just got MO license plates on it yesterday, hopefully a MO title in the mail in two weeks. This car has 10K original miles. It's never been modified. It has the optional stock BBS wheels, and the optional leather as well. No sun roof car. Since I picked the car up there are just a few things that I've had to take care of. Needed new tires, and new shocks/springs since the original ones are still on the car 27 years later. The AC fan makes an awful racket, so I'll have to figure out how to address that at some point. But other than that the car is in really good shape to be honest. Here are a few pictures: https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx7...e7d788bad.jpeg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx7...cf4e3c115.jpeg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx7...2a64d6fdf.jpeg I'm also just in general a huge fan of all Japanese cars. My other car is a 1968 Datsun 510 that was on JDM Legends TV show. Hopefully over the years I can keep adding a few cool Japanese cars to the collection. I'll share one pic of the Datsun: https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx7...c58929751d.jpg Anyways, looking forward to getting into this community and learning all about RX7s. |
That's an incredible looking FD you have there. Nice when they're that mint that all the panel gaps up front are still even...

Welcome to the forum!! Thats an absolutely stunning FD!! The car appears to be near perfect overall!! Would love to see pictures of the interior!

Welcome. That is a very clean FD!
If you haven't already, I'd strongly suggest changing the coolant. Coolant corrodes after time and the OEM coolant seals do not handle this well. |
