Hi my name is Evan and i'm from the western NY area. 18, college student, several jobs, typical, overworked underpaid lifestyle. yeah anyway. so i dont actually have an RX7. i've wanted one before but it never happened unfortunately. I do however drive a 2001 Camaro Z28 every day and I joined here because of my project car. i have a 1971 Datsun 240z with an S4 13b 6 port, street ported with 3mm solid apex seals and a fresh rebuild (still havent even fired it yet). i bought it with a t3/t4 hybrid .60 trim and s5 hot side, but after using an FD exhaust manifold (the only one that fit in my engine bay) the location of the waste gate shifted the turbo directly inside the motor, so i just sold it. which means i AM in the market for a new turbo, really anything T4 flanged that can make between 5-600hp is all im desiring. the car is going to be a pure track car. will it ever see a real track? well idk, im just sort of ridiculous so its my weekend road driver built for track. car is completely gutted. no dash or anything. just the car, the motor, 2 seats and an 8 point roll cage.

same here, ive always loved the old rx7s and have wet dreams for FD's. haha if this project ends up failing horribly i will somehow acquire more money, purchase an FB to throw the 13b into, take the ls1 from my maro and put that in the datsun, then purchase an lsx for the maro :P you know... in a dream world
