Hopeful future RX7 owner
Hi, i'm David. I'm a family man with two kids and we currently live in Tucson due to military. I"m 26 years of age and have been wanting a RX7 for quite some time now. I'm pretty sure you hear that alot but I think I made the right decision in the past to wait until i've matured (when it comes to cars). I have previously owned over my lifespan a Honda Accord 93, this was my first car back in high school. I didn't have any intentions with this car just a dd. That car took a crap on me so I purchased another 2 years later only total it due to hydroplaning. My first big purchase was a 2005 Honda Civic Si, I actually loved that car but due to some very immature financial decisions, that car was repo'd. After the civic I needed to take a very long break to get my act together and focus on other things. Now that I was over the WANT for Honda's (i'll still have a soft spot for them) about 3 years ago I purchsed my wife a car, being the considerate man I am. Only a few months ago I had owned a 95 Nissan 240sx, I actually had a few plans for that car but I knew that my heart wasn't truly in it. So I made the decision to sell only a few days ago actually. I've always had the love for RX7's but I knew then that I wasn't ready for it financially and I knew I was too young really. I find myself now doing the research and saving the money to purchase my first RX7 and I couldn't be more excited to finally own one of the top japanese legends. I'm just waiting for the right time because i'm afraid of making a rushed decision. I love this forum so much, so much information to study and learn from. I know this was a pretty long one but I feel that you all should really know where I come from and what i'm about.
