Hi in Vancouver

Hi my name is Dan. i have just inherited an silver 88 RX7.
i live in Vancouver and know nothing about the car. it has been parked for just under 7 or 8 years. I'm looking for help. It looks good, but i need help getting it up and running. Anyone know anyone who does good work reasonably priced?
Thanks D

I'm not around your neck of the woods.

What kind of issues are you having getting the Car run?

Did you try boosting it?
Did you try recharging the Battery?
Did you check the battery Cables?
Did you look over the Alternator?
Did you try check the Starter?
Did you try starting it with fresh gasoline?

Do you hear any noise when you try starting it up at all?

Are you just assuming it's an engine problem or you know and you want to go ahead and have it worked on.

Youre better off getting a manual and checking over basic things before considering a Mechanic.

With the amount of money you'll pour into a mechanic fixing it all.. you might as well install a working engine, if that's actually the problem.

Rx7

Right now from what i've read, i need to change the hoses and belts. Drain all the fluids and replace and put in new spark plugs...
I've inflated all the tires, they look good and are holding... Absolutely no power in the battery (not surprised after 8 years) but not sure if a boost or recharge will work (probably need a new battery). One person has told me that they believe if a rotary engine has not been used in over a year it is no longer any good... Any body got thoughts on that?
Thanks Dan
