Hi, New member with a long-time admiration

Hi, I am Zach from Dallas. Love these RX-7's and as I am getting to place in my life that recalls joys from the past and finally has a little money to play around with. My older brother drove a sweet 86 silver RX - 7 in high school in the early 90's. Looked similar to this or identical per my 14 year old at the time memory.

I remember when the Gen 3 came out and it was my unattainable dream sports car... That and my other favorite, the NSX. (No offense)

My father and his friend are 60's muscle car enthusiast and between them have rebuilt and own 64 GTO, 69 Chevelle SS among other GTO's, Camaro's and Mustangs... while his friend keeps a late 80's Gen 2 RX-7 convertible for his daily driver.

My recent sporty driver was a BMW Active Hybrid 3 (originally typed 7 - big difference), which was a very fun car to own and drive, however after warranty was over, was too costly to hang onto in the long-term for my tastes, along with having two elementary age boys to haul to camp-outs and sports games. So traded it for a 2011 Grand Cherokee 4x4 with a Hemi for my daily driver and looking for something fun to play with with on weekends, occasional commute and open road driving.

I am currently interbtled in a low mileage near stock FD (if there is such a thing) as I think these are just beautiful the way they are.

Thanks and look forward to hanging out here!
