yep, but that's 1/2 the fun. helps that i live 20 minutes from pettit racing as well, for insight and tough to find parts.

actually need to find an OEM metal driver's fender. the hood and bumper should be simple enough. it's back on the frame rack today, so need to get some body panels bolted back onto it.

my buddy is on this site, but not sure of his user ID. i help him a little bit with his red 1993.

i'm going to rip the seats out and bring them to a good upholstery shop that i've used before...probably use some crazy material on them since the tan leather is tired and well used.

I think you can probably just buff out the damage on the front end no problem lol

isn't this the reason they invented zip ties? less metal equals less weight.

Ouch! Sorry to see your fd so mangled. Are you planning on keeping her stock through the rebuild?

nope...internaly, i'm going to do the seats up by a local custom stitcher. and i don't think i'll be able to squeeze a factory headlight bucket back on the driver's side.

engine. stock-ish...stuff that's gone and i can't source, i'm going to have to make. for example. air filter. i'm not getting a stock airbox back into this thing with the new radiator.

she idled after the wreck. on the rack. 2 and a 1/2 years later...no spark. wtf...lol. damm rotary life...of which i am a rookie to.

she's off the rack and straight. but now comes the fun task of figuring out why it ran on the rack, and now won't turn over.

#issues.
