hey looking to learn rotary
 

Hey, How's it going guys my name is Frank and I'm new here I currently drive a built sohc turbo honda del sol but I want to get an fc turbo II after I post it for sale after my retune next week I am just trying to learn anything I can so I don't choose a lemon I have been limited on cash and I'm just looking for a reliable daily driver that I can take to the track and time attack or drift I am not new to the drifting world I've had past drift cars just in the dark about rotaries I have always loved the fc and fd and I think it's time to get 1, and can someone clear this up for me I was told recently that the turbo rotaries don't last long because they are high compression and based off of n/a motors not meant to be boosted I think him/friends just don't take care of cars well I always stay on top of my maintenance I do oil changes once a week or every 1k miles and always check for leaks and fluids are rotaries the same or is there more involved in maintenance. most of the turbo cars I had were higher compression n/a motors that I slapped a turbo on and always had good results they spool quicker but they make lower power numbers but it hasn't help me back from beating higher powered cars of the same class I had power from low end to high end instead of turbo lag to a bunch of boost all at once up top. Anything I should know about feel free to post here giving as much knowledge as u know I love to learn new car stuff and it helps when picking out a new car. Sorry for jabbering and improper punctuation and all I'm dyslexic never was good at reading and writing but car stuff I can read as long as they make their point known, it makes the most sense to me.

On the contrary 13bts found in 86-88 and 89-91 Rx7s have lower compression then their NA counterparts. Also these engines when maintained and kept in optimal Air Furl Ratios can last quite a while. Just ask the many members who have 300+ WHP FCs that daily drive them or have had them for years.
