help??? with cluster
 

hey what's up just new to the rotary world . I found an 87 gxl for 1000$ kind of trouble shooting just to figure her out any body know if there is a difference in the cluster wiring between 87 and 90 1 found a 90 in a scrap yard pulled all kinds of shit of everthing works but the guages won't no gauge lights when i pull the high beam on the volts, temp, and some annoying sound comes on . The cluster is alot nicer reads 260 - red lines at 8000 anybody else tryed this before?
