Hello everyone!

My name's Avery, I'm 22 from Alberta, Canada, and this is my 1987 Mazda RX-7. I picked it up recently at the end of May and been struggling with the learning curve of owning a rotary ahah. It's a base model with a S4 turbo engine, GXL differential, Power FC ECU, T04E turbocharger, and a large street port. I'm a red seal heavy equipment technician by trade who loves JDM cars. Hope to get to know some of you guys on here!

Welcome to the forum Avery! Your FC looks nice with the FD wheels. Did you build the car yourself or were you lucky enough to pick it up with the TII engine already in it?

Thank you, I look forward to being here! I appreciate that also, the FD wheels are actually very nice to begin with, I think long term I'd like a set of Spirit R wheels for the FC. Unfortunately I got the car modified already but it was setup as a drift car so I spent some time going through it and removing and the drift stuff and fixing issues along with maintenance. The car actually came with a welded diff when I got it!

Thank you! I'm a big fan of time attack and track racing so I wanna set it up to be functional at the track but also have good street manners!
