Yes, I'm new to posting threads, joining a social media and probably too old to try BUT I do have and love my RX7. Here's my story and the reason I registered on your site today:

I bought an '86 in 1990 and traded it for a '91 convertible in 1995. For many years it was protected in a garage and or parking structure unless it was being driven.

When I retired in 2000 I began living part time in the Southern California desert but still the car was protected in a carport -- not however from the heat.

I have now returned to the Pacific NW and live in a houseboat on the river. There are no options to protect the car and it is parked in an open lot next to a field. Yes, it rains a lot in Oregon and a winter under a car cover has not done enough to maintain the car. I know it is time for me to let it "go" (but by that I don't mean allow it to be further ruined by an uneducated and unappreciative buyer).

My hope is to use this site to educate myself as to it's present value and find another RX7 enthusiast to take it forward.

My fear, already realized by my early exploration on this site, is that reading and looking at the all the beautiful RX7s will make it even more difficult to say goodbye.

Well, that's my story and it has been fun saying HELLO.
