Hello all. I mentioned I was starting to look at buying RX-7's on sale online and someone pointed out this group to me. There's not much out there on autotrader or ebay. The pandemic has shifted me to full time remote work and the idea of having a less practical 2-seater has become more practical. So far it seems that show room quality domestic RX-7 FD's come in over $35k (not an option). I've seen a heavily modified one listed with a start price of $20k (seemed tastefully done, but the list of modifications was really long). Then I've seen handfuls of import RDH ones from 20k-30k.

What would an FD in the 10k-15k range look like? Would it be a non-working car? Significant body damage? I keep thinking that it should be possible to import something that isn't show room ready for less than the $20k I've seen listed on a couple of import sites. Thanks in advance for any information and tips.
