Greeting from Maine

Hello all. My name is Josh. I recently purchased a nearly bone stock 86 FC from a friend of mine. I've had a lot of cars, mostly 240's in the past, I currently have a 4th gen F body and am looking to get back into the sliding game.

Big plans ahead for the car, of course, some will agree, some wont, with what I decide to do to the car, but it is what it is haha. Some of the first things that need, will be a new brake master cylinder, and some hoses as the oem ones are mostly pooched lol. Basic maintenance things will be done for now. Theres some rust work under the car to be done after as well as swapping to 5 lug and the turbo brakes. I would also like to get the turbo diff installed. I'll be dropping the sub frames and installing new bushings as well as grinding everything down, and re sealing it.

From there, I'll start on the outside a bit, a set of coils and replace the crusty sun roof. The paint could use a good buffing so thats on the list and some temp exhaust repair. I'm heavily debating widebody panels and a set of 04 work equips, No crazy camber, just a nice set of rollers to accommodate the widened fenders.

Now for the part everyone will hate :) . Grannies speed shop LSX kit after some time. Buying a 6.0 to put in with a T56. Monster clutch, Comp cam, LS6 plenum with ported LS6 heads, ARP studs and some decent head gaskets to start. Have to weld up some exhaust when the time comes too.

So thats just a brief plan as to whats to come. Hope Some of you will enjoy it, and I hope some of you wont as I enjoy to hear both sides make their points, wether good or bad, theres always helpful info to be shared.
