finally got an x7

wat up i had mx6 mx3 and protege now i finally got an 86 naturally aspirated rx7. so heres wat i got 86 that hasnt benn ran in long time couple years. so i bought plugs for it 4 ngk two front and two leading. i also got a pump to drain fuel tank. and am going to change oil. heres what happen to it the original owner from 86 took care of it till he had kids and trans problem happen. it got stuck in 3rd gear and he drove it home. he never did trans work and it has 180k. so is that all i should do oil change drain old gas and change plugs then try to fire it up or is there anything else i should do besides battery ? thanks all

Welcome!

Sounds good to me just to start it up. It will probably smoke and stuff but that is normal after sitting for a while. Another thing to do is a compression test on it to make sure the engine is strong and healthy.

wat ignition set up should i run with a naturally aspri if i dont get spark next week when i try to fire it up? msd ?
