Chicago Area FC
Hey Rx7club, My Name is Adam, I recently bought this 1990 Rx7 Gxl. Came with different springs, not sure which ones tho. I got the rolling chassis for 700 bucks with no engine or trans. First thing is going to find an engine and a transmission to get her running. For the engine im going to go with a S5 13B-T
if anyone knows of any tips or tricks they would like to give me right off the bat please let me know im open for suggestions! http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...7/DSC05516.jpg http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...7/DSC05513.jpg http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...7/DSC05515.jpg http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...7/DSC05514.jpg |

|
That looks like a clean roller!
If you check out the Second Gen Section FAQ page you will see lots of information regarding the Turbo swap. Also, if you are looking for events in the Chicagoland area check out the local forum EVOLV-Chicago. There is a link in my sig. |
Very nice chassis!! just remember when building these its best to just spend the extra money and do things right from the start!

Thanks everyone for the welcomes, and Ive got another question the roller doesnt have a driveshaft and I was wondering where I could possible find one, and also if the turbo II drive shaft will fit?

Mazdatrix has a driveshaft from the TII transmission to the N/A Differential.
http://www.mazdatrix.com/g9.htm Otherwise you should swap in the Turbo diff and run a TII driveshaft. |
