I'm digging the dark red paint actually! How does it run and drive?

Thanks! It runs great, cools nicely, no weird quirks or anything strange. Front end is a little too stance nation-y right now. Eventually want to upgrade the ECU from the power FC to a haltech. Right now the biggest project is going to be the interior really. Dirty tan and most of the plastics are cracked. The carbon fiber interior trim seems like its getting harder to find, unless someone can point me in the right direction. Other than that looking to get some 99 spec tail lights (maybe a 99 wing?) Anyway it's going to be a fun project!

I almost bought this car! He was asking a real reasonable price. If I wasnt 3 hours away I would have beat you to it! Congrats though. Looks great. Ebay has most of the carbon fiber interior parts. They come from China so not sure about quality but they look nice. I was considering them myself

Once I get my hands on some I'll let you guys know about fitment and such for the carbon fiber bits. The next major project would be a decent suspension set up. I would love to get my hands on some Ohlin's but i may need to go for something cheaper. In the future I eventually want to go haltech and swap to a ball bearing turbo.

Ohlins is great im pretty sure most know that. I went with BC BR's for my rx7 and my brother went with HKS for his FD ( being a little expensive, but 100% worth the $) All about personal preference , Would you be daily driving or weekend warrior?

Hey buddy, welcome to the club! I'm in Miami as well. Looks like you're in the Kendall area, congrats on the 7 man it looks great!

We've got another guy who is recent to the scene who just posted his white RHD FD a few days back and another guy who lives really near you with a CYM, very low mileage and beautiful.

It seems like all the sudden we're getting a little squad together here...

We're going to Fast Lane Friday on Dec. 1st at Homestead Miami Speedway. If you're not familiar, it's an 1/8 mile drag strip in pit lane at the NASCAR track. It's a good time whether you race, or watch. It's $10 to watch and $20 to race. We usually all pay the $20 regardless if we're racing or not because you can park your car inside the gates where you can keep an eye on it. If you're interested, send me a text and I'll coordinate so we can all ride out there together.

Nick

Oh cool. How pricey is something like that if you dont mind me asking. Most of the sets on ebay go for like 800 plus from what I see.

Congrats. I am in Orlando and i have a small group of 5 fd. We hang and help each other out with repairs. One of our guys works at a jdm shop and that helps a great deal.

Your main power wire coming off the fuse block is also exposed and could ground out and start a fire. I had the same kind of dangerous setup from the previous owner of my car. I’ll show you the fix if you make it out to the Fast Lane Friday next week.

If you can’t make it, I showed how to do it in my build thread. I think it’s page one or two.
