Been browsing for a while.
 

Hello everyone, I'm Rodney. I was born on the east coast in South Carolina, but lived most of my life in Washington State around the Puget Sound area. I'm pretty excited to own my first enthusiast's car and can't wait to see what the new year brings.

I'm into movies, guns, cars, beer, and video games... Standard guy stuff. I've been working on my own cars ever since I got my first back in high school. My dad bought me a 2001 Subaru Outback. I replaced it with a 2000 Volkswagen Jetta that I bought, broke it, then bought a 1989 Honda Civic that I've happily owned for a year and hasn't left me stranded.

I was referred to these message from the man I bought my RX-7 from, I believe he has an account here, he goes by Adam and is from the same general area I live in. I've been using these message boards search tool to get kind of a "second opinion" answers for troubleshooting problems I'm encountering with my own RX-7.

The RX-7 I picked up from him is a 1983 shell, with a street ported 12a, 5 speed, and a GSL-SE LSD.

Attached below is the most decent picture I have, which is from my friends facebook and taken within the hour we got it in the garage off the flatbed.

Anyway, I hope I can fit in pretty well on these message boards, and maybe make some good friends along the way!
