Aww...my first post here!

This is my introduction post so that you know I'm not a computer or an idiot looking for trouble. :)

I just bought a California plated 93 Montego Blue Base....the *exact* car with(out) options I've always hoped to someday own. I can remember seeing an FD3S for the first time in a parking lot in 93 and thinking...man, that car looks like it's melted a little. The curves and lines were just...perfect.

I was a year outta high school and thought there was no way I'd ever get to have one in my garage. I've had it for almost two weeks now, and every morning I get up early because I know that I get to drive to work in my dream car.

Can't beat that.

I've driven several HPDE events here in Arizona, in everything from my anemic Miata to a G37S and I'm looking forward to getting the RX7on the track, after I replace my AST. :) I've read through a ton of stuff here and definitely appreciate all the tips, suggestions, and warnings that members post. Great forum!

Thanks for the rundown on how you got rotarized! It's exactly the kind of stuff we're looking for in these Introduce Yourself threads! Congratulations on the find and it looks like that FD has found a great home. Thanks for taking the time to register with RX-7 Club and welcome aboard, Mike!

Welcome to the crazy world of rotary ownership. I'm president of the local AZ rotary club. Send me a PM about local drives and vendors with other rotary owners (if interested), and again, welcome!
