Another hopeful FD owner in FL.
Hi I am Mike. I live in the Palm Beach area. Been reading up on the threads for some time learning about the FD. I have been in and out of the market for quite some time about purchasing an FD.
I was hooked about 10 years ago as I was able to test drive Rob Robinettes 93 R1 (was listed for sale. (2nd owner had 16k miles on it at the time. 2nd owner blew the engine before I was able to transfer payment to buy the car.) Test drove quite a few now, all were modified. Deciding to buy a stocker or modified... decisions decisions lol Looking at touring 93's only. I like sunroofs and love the detail of tachometer on the 93's. This is what my FD will be replacing. Sold her with only 17k on the odo. 97 6 speed BPU++ https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx7...157f3b21b9.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx7...5d4c0c552d.jpg On a side note I test drove a ls7 Z06 https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx7...933ea60343.jpg and a vipers recently, cross shopping the FD's. And I've come to the conclusion that absolutely nothing compares to the visceral feeling and driver feedback of the FD. A true drivers car..! Thanks, Mike :) |
That supra doh......Jealous. How does the Florida heat account for power loss?
|
Thanks. sold the Supra in CT before I moved down. Didn't really like it. Very isolated from the road, not a drivers car like the FD at all.
|
That supra looks amazing. Jealous
|
I bet that Supra sold for a pretty penny. Lots of mod money there!

The FD is a true drivers car indeed. Good luck on your quest of finding the right one
