Welcome, and don't be shy about asking questions (no mater how stupid they might sound to you); that is how we all learn.

welcome patrick. concerning what u listed about ur car, don't u mean 12a? post up some pix.

crazeyawesome 10-17-10 05:25 PM

yes I do mean 12A haha, must have been thinking of something else while typing it.

I love driving this thing, but it seems like it will be never 100% fixed haha.

I think we all feel that way sometimes

New myself

I always wanted a rx7 myself. I just joined. Trying to learn about the Wankel engine and it is great. No valves and such.

I have a 82 rx7 gsl
12A engine. 115k miles

That is about all I know

P.S. California here.

I just got an 88 RX7 myself, I've been in love with the rotary engine ever since I discovered it. My current car is becoming a project drifter. The ultimate objective is a little custom fabrication and the addition of lower compression rotors and a supercharger, the ultimate power on tap drift spec vehicle. The actual list of parts, complete, is a little nuts. Rims put aside. (A 1600 doller value...) The coilovers, supercharger, cold air intake, body kit, carbon hood, fresh exhause, ect is all gonna cost by the time its done. This is all gonna be at the top end of street spec.

After I finish that...

I want to make the muscle crowd eat dust. So either a 1st gen with a V8 swap, or with a 20B Rotary with low compression rotors and turbo/supercharger. I don't know the exact feasability or difficulty of that project, but by the time I'm finished my current project, I should have the more specialized experience and skill nessisary to build the Muscle Killer.
