This is my Series 4 purchased in November 1999. We have been through a lot together including manual conversion, 3 engine rebuilds 2 sets of suspension and a bare metal paint job. It has been in storage as a display car in a tyre shop for the last 9 years while I lived abroad. Kept running once a month to keep those apex seals nice and happy.
She's pretty standard apart from the usual mods these FC's get. Emission blank off, exhaust and a filter. Fully adjustable suspension and aftermarket radiator with electric fan.
Finally have had it re-vinned with fresh registration and warrant of fitness (New Zealand for road legal) this week. Had a couple of minor problems after a long time sitting. Mainly leaks from sump, fuel lines and water pump. Replaced all flexible brake lines and pads. Then the turbo blew up at the testing station! A quick turbo replacement and she passed. Can't wait to enjoy it for the nz summer.
