18yr Olds 1st Car - 77K 1985 GS 12A And Lovin' It
5 Attachment(s)
Hey guys, I think its about time I introduce myself formally on the forum. I am a recently-turned rotary runner in Isanti, Minnesota that was fortunate enough to get myself a 1985 GS with the 12A in it, and only 78,xxx on the clock when I transferred the title into my name! I just turned 18 years old a few weeks ago, and I absolutely love my car. I have big plans for it, but these will probably come into fruition when I have a bit more cash in hand next summer, as I am in full-time PSEO through my high school (attending paid college while still in high school  ). So my rotary is currently run to get me back and forth between work and school, and any other errands I need to run. I love this car, and I already plan on getting a couple more 7's
Thanks for the support guys, and i look forward to conversing with you all for a long while to come. |
Welcome! Beautiful car you have there!
|
Very nice FB! Your first sports car will be with you forever, I still look back with fond memories of my MR2. Never let anyone take her from you! ;)
|
I have absolutely no plans on her going anywhere, because it is an awesome car to drive and own. Few know what it is, and those that do appreciate it. Those that I gracefully allow to drive it love the driving experience so much they then want one haha :)

Nice.
I'm 17 and I got my first car about 3 weeks ago, and it's an 88 FC N/a. Your car is just beyond amazing, very intact. |
Wow amazingly clean!! Take good care of her:)
|
Very nice car. I have an '85 GS also. They are so much fun and drive amazing. It's nice to see younger people appreciate a true RWD sport car. I have an FC also, but FB's are more to the true sports car spirit. Small, simple and uncluttered with gadgets, cold, hot, no ABS.
You are getting into the kind of car only a chosen few people can appreciate. It's an elite club to own a rotary car. Be proud and enjoy it. Good luck with your new ride. |

Just had our first snow where I'm at here just north of the Twin Cities here in Minnesota. About 2 or 3 inches of the awesome powdery white goodness, lovin it :) I might just shoot a video of myself drifting the FB here real soon :) There isn't any salt out in my area yet, thats why I took her out, she wont touch salt if I can help it = storage soon :/
