Whos used the MR. Clean AutoDry carwash?
 

Who has used the Mr.Clean Auto CarWash?? im curious to how well it works im thinking about if i should buy it or not let me know fellaS!

I think it is worth it. no drying when you follow the directions. and no spots. :)

i should start doing that since the weekly wash i been doing has put lots of swirls in my paint :(

i find it takes longer to wash the car using it. the most time consuming step is rinsing the regular water off with the filtered water.

i just use the california water blade for the big parts of the car, and a cloth for the rest. cuts the drying time to about 5 minutes.

I love it als. it works best if the car is waxed.

We have a version of this in the UK. Works great and gives you more time to wax, and more time to cruise :)

Hate it... big, bulky, and soaping it without a bucket just bothers me. All the dirt stays in your sponge/mitt while you do the entire car. I still have spots as well... and it seemed like the wash itself removes wax.

amen to that. i feel like a jerkoff pointing that thing at my car in the driveway, the neighbors already think im crazy for washing the car so often. i'll admit i had really good results with the thing in the middle of a hot summer day. but one time i did it towards the end of the day and it never really dried.

another issue for me is the refills are expensive as hell. when you have a big bottle of soap you can wash your car for months for free.

my neighbors already call me crazy because i wash my car every week, now if they see me using this professional looking thing, they'll really think im weird..i already got one neighbor who said, "dude, its just a mazda, why are you washing it so much?" and i just laughed..but he is right, its just a mazda, i just hate seeing my car dirty..

ill just continue it my way, i been doing it for over a year already..

i have always used armor all's car soap. i used ti have a fullsize GMC sierra, black. too big to dry fast, thus I had to find a solution to water spots..and this soap has always worked fine for me as long as you do a quick wipedown after.

i found that the mr clean used up a lot of soap so waht i do is i spray the soapy water into a bucket, and wash from there. you dont get water spots even if you dont rinse with the filtered water mist.

I have used it a few times on my brothers car and it works fine. Of course you're not going to get your $25 car wash with this, and I wouldn't recommend it for any deep cleaning such as caked on mud, but it does a nice job. But they get you in the end since you have to purchase their liquid soap and water filters every so often. :bigthumb:

I just wash my car, and then blow it off with a leaf blower. It works great because it avoids using a towel to dry it off (which cuts down on scratches), and its quick.

I love mine and use it often. No water spots and only takes 10-15 minutes to wash the car. It doesn't use that much soap if you use it right. :rolleyes: I did the math and it works out costing about $0.25-$0.50 per wash. Worth every penny.

i just got one last week... havent used it yet. i dont like the idea that i HAVE to use their soap. is there something special about their soap that helps repel the water?? otherwise, id like to just wash the car the way ive been doing it for years, and use it to rinse the water afterwards.

i bought this thing because the water here has so many minerals etc in it that on a hot day i end up with water spots before i can even get to dry the car.... and those waterspots (when left alone) become ETCHED into the clear coat and i cant seem to remove them no matter what i do! do i need to be waxing more frequently??

anyway, what do you guys think about using it strictly for the RINSE process? -heath
