What is the most subtle-looking vented hood?

I am looking for a vented hood for my FD, I know it gets crazy hot in the engine bay and I want to allow some of that heat to escape. However, I really dont like most of the aftermarket ones I have seen, ruins the sleek lines of the car IMO. Is there any vented hood available that just have small vents, nice and subtle? No fins or scoops, anything like that. Thanks

I think the mazdaspeed is pretty subtle, and for me, the nicest aftermarket hood...

Not to mention the best made.

I would agree with the mazdaspeed hood. I have the re-ameniya ad-9 hood, but that is far from subtle.
Heres a pic of the mazdaspeed hood from atihuns website.

Personally I find that the Scoot Sports Hood is pretty low key

Couple of options FWIW.

feed is pretty subtle and high quality

neit_jnf 03-12-06 12:19 PM

I like the N1... but is not subtle at all

NuTbAgSaN 03-12-06 12:40 PM

lol stop feeding lies.

and speaking of feed, that gets my vote. just has some gills for ventilation, other than that, looks stock.

For the most subtle CF vented hood I would have to say the Feed hood hands down. From the front you can't really notice the vents at all.
Check out the replica group buy on it.....https://www.rx7club.com/group-buy-center-69/group-buy-carbon-fiber-hood-poll-470012/

JUN! That being said, I don't thing any of them go along with the lines of the FD.
The Feed, is a close second to me followed by the Mazdaspeed and then the Knightsports hood.

Heres my mazdaspeed, i think its the sexiest most stock looking, and it is a true mazdaspeed part but good luck finding one. they make knockoffs but you gotta use hoodpins.

Have you seen the newer style ms hood with the added vent on each side?

FEED by a long shot

blueskaterboy 03-13-06 11:16 PM

FEED is the only one that doesn't look ridiculously stupid. all the other ones have conflicting lines.
