What FD side skirts are these?
http://www.tunerzine.com/articles/18.../victor_14.jpg
I thought they were RE-Amemiya ADs but they look slightly different. http://www.ownedperformance.com/imag...20Step%202.gif Thought they were RE-Amemiya N1s but I've seen various ones with a N1 label. Any help would be great. |
From the site:
The exterior of the car features a RE Amemiya N1 body kit with molded side and rear skirts. The paint is a custom white with blue pearl, that you can really see pop in all the pics below. Wheels can be a two-sided coin; they can either help or hurt a car’s appearance. While these 18-inch Volk Racing GT-Ps are not one of our favorite styles, they compliment this RX-7's bodylines quite nicely. The wheels, wrapped in Toyo Proxes RA-1 rubber, hide Brembo cross-drilled brake rotors, Metal Matrix Kevlar brake pads, and Goodridge steel-braided brake lines. |

There are a couple version actually I believe three form the looks of the RE site..
AD 1, AD 2, GT-AD. https://www.rx7club.com/jkl-engineering-271/gb-re-amemiya-ad-gt-widebody-kit-who-want-725944/ There are some pictures of it on the second page Chris |
Apparently there is a 2005 and a 2002 style. I don't know of the differences other than the front bumper. I don't believe RE makes either of them anymore though.
It's also possible that the magazine has it wrong and those are the AD sides molded (which is most likely what they are). |
Yeah I think the magazine was rsmokin crack lol those are definetaly the AD side skirts lol

At one point in time I thought I remember both of these sides being labeled as N1 skirts. They do look very much like the original white cars.

I wasn't sure if this was was the 2002 or 2005 version. Either way it's not what I want. https://i121.photobucket.com/albums/...20sale/1-1.jpg These have also been labeled as AD sides but look much different. http://www.re-amemiya.co.jp/gallery/...oya_go_all.jpg I think the problem could be coming from what people who replicated the skirts labeled them. I'm just trying to avoid going through a good deal of trouble getting them to find out they are slightly different. Thanks for the help |

The main difference I see is the little dip and the "roundness" in the rear. The 3 pictures on the left were thought to be N1 while the one on the right is labeled as AD http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...lduke/side.jpg Another difference seems to be how much the rear wraps around. the N1 on the left appears to wrap around further than the AD on the right. http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...lduke/rear.jpg |
sorry, the white car with the 3 spoke gold wheels. The rear finisher on the right is what came with my kit. N1.

Thanks. I looked around for a bit but was unable to located the description. By any chance do you know if there are different N1 versions? Perhaps a 2002 model and a pre 2002 model?
