What Adhesive to Use for Dual Gauge Pod?
 

I don't want to use the provided push screws to retain the Pods position. To cheap looking for me. I made an attempt to use Epoxy 5 but that turned out to be a flop.

What did you guys use to keep It reinforced In position?

I use push screws but i would think any epoxy that was good enough to hold it up would also damage the pillar.
just a thought

why not do it with real screwed... get some black colored screws and drill a tiny hole in both the A pillar and the gauge pop... so now it it gaurenteed secured.

I want It reinforced so It cannot be ripped out. Knock on wood that happens...the whole A Pillar Is coming out with It.

Anyone?

Okay how about this? Does everyone have their (Dual) Guage Pod mounted with screws? If not, what did you use?:)

I didn't want to use the push screws that came with the gauges, since I didn't want to put holes in my A pillar.

I just went out to Home Depot and picked up some heavy duty 3M double sided foam tape. Works good! Hasn't moved since I put it on. :) Give that a try for now.

I changed my mind... I'm using the provided push screws and contact cement. Fini!

:nono: you can get some dual-adhesive tape at any store but i reccomend 3M.
Be sure that the surfaces are clean and WARM when you apply the tape, that way it sticks better, and you dont get the holes and the dumb looking screws:)
