Okay, that would be a base 94 touring without the Bose,standard issue cassette/speakers as from factory, pretty grim.

Perhaps if you elaborate more on what it is you are looking for, people will be more helpful..:)

If you have no previous experience with car stereo installations, but still want to complete the project by yourself, you might begin by researching the types of head units, amps, speakers and sub-woofers available. Go to www.crutchfield.com where you can input the year, make and model of your car and the site will tell you what brands and types of equipment will fit in your car. That will additionally assist you in determining what your budget will allow. If you choose to purchase from them they will provide you with wiring and installation instructions. If you buy somewhere else you may find members here that will answer questions you may then have. I believe that your budget will determine what your final system will be.

yea i have a 88NA and my sound SUCKS..... damn.. would two 6.5" speakers be loud enough? i dont have much money to spend.. i only have around $260

For $260 you might obtain a fairly decent head unit and speakers that would out-perform the stock ones you have. The setup would be better than a stock configuration. You would want to think about any future upgrades to whatever you purchased, so I would probably spend the bulk of the $$$ on the head unit and then try to find a deal on the speakers. They can always be upgraded less expensively than the head unit. For that money you can improve what you have (if its stock).

I put Boston Acoustic Pro 6.5's in the doors and Boston Acoustic Rally 6's in the rear.

Also have 8" Vega Sub Tube w/Alpine Amp tucked under the rear strut bar.

The Head Unit is a Kenwood XC815.

Sound is awesome!

The Pro 6.5 separate tweeters are installed on the little black triangle piece at window level.

For touring model's
 

If you had the Bose, don't get rid of the box on the door because it is great for mid bass and without it you will have to pay to build a wooden one of some kind.

If you can get the rear speaker panels...
Install 5x7's if you have to, else get an adapter to put 6&1/2's, then in the fron 4" w/soft-silk tweeters. Although I don't like the looks (cause its not flush) get a Pioneer head unit that has that EQ thing which sends the highs to the front and mids to the rears.

You will get a really nice hi-fi sound, only lacking the bass thump but it will still sound good for very little money compared to a custom hi-fi install.
