100 views and 11 votes, hmmmm, maybe i should have put up another color in the poll.
Thanks to everone who voted, I agree with the majority titanium grey. :) |
The titanium grey metallic from the Spirit R is a great color for the FD. IMO the metallic flake in the paint gives it a very modern factory look. Hell, even suburbans have some metallic flake in the paint now. Your car would look about 10 years newer, and to the average person, they'd probably think it's a pretty expensive late model car because of the timeless lines of the FD. I really want to paint my car that color, but completely changing from black to that color is just too much work. Hope I've persuaded you a bit, good luck

had my bumpers and mirrors repainted with silverstone and it didn't match the rest of the car, it hinted blue whereas the factory paint hints red. I guess it fades to that color over time. Come to think of it, when I fill in paint chips the duplicolor silverstone is darker.
I'm suprised 8 guys know the difference. |
Danny some paint info; silver is probably the hardest color to blend.I am also sure that car manufactors use a custom paint to paint the bumpers so it will match the rest of the car ;)

Unless you are completely stripping it down to paint it, paint it the stock color.
