Are there any body kits available for 2nd. gen rx7?

don't call me a ricer or anything. I was just wondering because I haven't seen any BK's available except for jspec MazdaSpeed ones that are out of my league. (my pockets ain't deep enough.) :o:

Try Bomex. Pretty sure they make 2nd gen body kits.

13bpower 09-04-02 12:48 AM

Bomex does make the most affordable kit for the FC. It is about $1100 I think. Front, sides and back.

GP sports makes the best kit though. Kinda pricey though.

don't forget mariah

here is one that i got a group buy going on for

TurboSmoke 09-05-02 02:03 PM

yes these are photo shoped colors but thats what the kit looks like

RX7withNitrous 09-05-02 06:43 PM

The bomex kit is sweett......

TurboSmoke 09-06-02 12:25 AM

i still like the rotary extreme kit

siRacer 09-06-02 12:29 AM

any clean looking kits out there?

those were nice but they're a bit exagerated for my tastes :o:

Prowla RX7 09-06-02 08:27 PM

GP Sports, IMO is pretty clean. Amemiya makes a bodykit... an expensive one at that too.

bkapold@aol.com 09-06-02 08:44 PM

Here is my car below with a side shot of the BoMex front bumper...If you need a front shoot just let me know

bkapold@aol.com

thanks

bkapold@aol.com 09-06-02 08:45 PM

BTW the shopping cart style wing is coming off and is forsale :)

MazdaMike 09-07-02 12:12 PM

those pics totally changed my view on FC's hot damn thats nice

siRacer 09-07-02 12:38 PM

I like the GP sports front and sides but the back won't work in my case. I've got a single exhaust that comes out at an angle.

Anybody know of a clean rear bumper that would go nice with the GP front and sides?

TurboSmoke 09-08-02 03:16 PM

got me there.... i am doing the rotary extreme front end thats posted above. the GP sports back bumper and side skirts and i am doing a carbon fiber TII hood from japppan its gunna cost me 700.00 for the rotary extreme bumper, 980 for the CF TII hood, 600 for the GP sports back bumper and 400 for the side skirts. my car will be bad ass when i am done with it.

SLOWT2 09-09-02 08:57 PM

border sports makes a really nice kit for the T2's

MarkPerez 09-14-02 11:57 PM

I think the mariah mode six is the best looking for the FC

bkapold@aol.com 09-15-02 06:39 AM

Quiksilver540 09-16-02 02:43 AM

IMHO I think the Gp sports kit is the nicest for the fc. For more info on the kit I think their website is www.gpsports-na.com.

Rotorific 09-16-02 11:22 AM

and in superstreet this month they actually put an article in new products showing the gpsports fc and talking about how its the best body kit for the fc yet ....uh superstreet have you ever heard of re amemyia and thier fc2000 kit i rest my case

MarkPerez 09-16-02 01:50 PM

Mortuus 09-22-02 04:06 PM

As far as the GP kit goes.. which one of those applies to the RX-7? All of them? And which would match an 89? I'm confused. The base cars don't look like RX-7's..

well they are and they will fit any 2nd generation RX-7. the body style before the newer RX-7s.

87redGXL 09-24-02 08:33 PM

That car is (was) mariah's project car,, a 3 rotor cosmo
with twin turbos, california smog legal , and a/c, i think
it put out 480 something horse power. It was sold for
either ,, $ 37,000 or $ 41,000 I think it looks closer to
a trick porsche 944 IMO

Someone 09-26-02 08:53 PM

Those "base" cars look like s13's to me

rotaryjosh 02-10-09 12:24 PM

I would use either an Origin kit or the afforementioned RE-A kit.I think they are the two best looking kits available, but both are fairly pricey.
