Which sideskirt is this (FD3S)?

Guys, I want to know what side skirt is this?
looks like Racingbeat but the opening is bigger, how do you make it like that? And the rear flare, where do you get this? The bumper looks weird too, never seen it before. But this picture as a whole looks incredible  |
IIRC racing beat used to sell them but I don't think they offer them anymore
Erebuni made those as well: http://www.erebuni.net/wheels/mazda5.htm Buit knightsports were the original manufacturer http://www.body-kitz.com/contents/en-us/p2070.html |
Those are 2 diff side skirts, the first ones hole is in the middle where as the knightsports one is lower, you can pick those up on ebay for dirt cheap, Just search 93 rx7 side skirts or something along that line.

looks like a 99 spec bumper with a modified or different lip... and i dont think the rear fenders are flared out, i believe its part of the side skirt that does all the way from the wheel area to the skirts
|
The side skirts are originally from knightsport and the flair is not part of the side skirts. The front end came from a company that was selling it on eBay a few years back. The bumper came with the lip which was fully fiberglass(poor quality)
|
The bumper was originally called MB Autosport

Shame you are in Canada. I have a good quality set of the KS skirts that have never been painted.

https://www.rx7club.com/attachment.p...3&d=1330030754 Truth be told racingbeat, erebuni, knightsport are all very similar but erebuni's intake does seem a little bit higher. I'm sure there are more differences but i can't spot them from these old crappy pics. racing beat: http://www.rotorsportsracing.com/ima...beat/67106.jpg erebuni: http://www.erebuni.net/wheels/wimages/5STARRX7.JPG knightsport http://www.body-kitz.com/contents/me...rtshowcase.jpg |
not sure if you are interested still on the side skirts but i have an original pair of brand new knightsports side skirts like the one you want.

Can anyone clarify if those sideskirts have holes in them, or are they sealed?

Thanks for providing me with a better image, I tried clicking on the attached image but it wouldn't load. You just clarified my inquiry, thanks. I've seen some images where the duct is sealed, and some that appear to be open, so I wasn't sure, thanks again. Getting mine installed this week, and the skirts come sealed.
|
^^ No problem. But to be honest, I don't understand the holes because once the side skirt is attached, the area where the holes reside gets sealed. So basically you have a hole leading to nowhere. So what's it for?
I could be mistaken but if you take a look at the racing beat sideskirts (which are similar) you'll see that there is no outlet on the back side. http://www.rotorsportsracing.com/ima...beat/67106.jpg |
Bingo, that's exactly why I asked. It's superficial feature, and serves no point what so ever. All visual as there's no way for it to provide any performance related benefits. My concern is that if the hole is open, I can only imagine the number of items that can get stuck in there.
