Eric, order the boots from www.RedlineGoods.com, you can use those for 2010.

Once the old coot finally finishes the boots you ordered from her in, you can rock those to celebrate the new year...... in 2011:lol:

Man sounds like an ordeal. it really only takes a few hours to do two seats. Our seats really arnt that complicated. I've put in about an hour on mine in between jobs at work and they are 1/3 done.

Hope u get everything sorted out tomorrow, and they turn out well.

Haha!

Well the leather ones I gave her to use for a pattern are the ones I got from Redline Goods a couple years ago, and she kept talking about taking them apart to make the new ones after I told her numerous times not to haha. The new boots I got aren't at all what I wanted, other than using the black material. Other than that, they're booty...no pun intended.

Damn, I wish I'd sent them to you instead then HAHA.

Well, hell must have frozen over because I got the seats today. She actually had them finished. The shift boot and ebrake boot aren't what I wanted, but I'll take them somewhere else and get them redone. I also got the leftover blue thread, so at least I can give that to whoever does the boots and it will match. And now, some pics...

I'm not sure if you can tell, but she even put the pocket on the back of the passenger side, like the stock covers had. I didn't expect that. She also got the seatbelt holders on there too, which I love. However, the stitchwork is kinda eh, and it sucks that I got blue thread because of that haha. You can't really tell from a distance that there is blue thread, you have to get up close to see it. Actually, you can see it better in these pics than you can in person haha.

I had them installed in the car within an hour of getting them home, but I haven't driven the car yet because of a friend returning from deployment and hanging out with them. Tomorrow though!

Oh, I also have a bad feeling that she might have put too much foam in the bottom of the seat and now my head will be hitting the roof again haha. I'll have to see tomorrow.

I agree about the stitching but at least you got them back and they look like a solid 9/10 overall.

Man, her patterns arnt very good at all. All those wrinkles on the head rest and bolsters shouldnt be there. The top stitching obviously has some issues also. It doesnt even look like she finished hog ringing them in place.

Going with a complete suede seat can be problematic also because suede on the bolsters wears quuckly from sliding in and out of the car. Its looks like she has the suede running in the right direction on the seat though.

Good to see you have them back. If you want shift boots made, you can send me a pm. We can do any color/material with any thread color.

They look pretty cool. Great improvement over stock imo.
I'm sure they look a lot better in person too, its hard to make suede look good in pics.

Yeah I'm just happy to have seats again. I drove the car today, it was great haha. I certainly appreciate it more when I haven't been able to drive it for a while.

On Thursday she claimed she was trying to get the wrinkles out. I'm not quite as concerned with the wrinkles, not as much as I am with the booty looking stitchwork lol. There are places where the blue thread doesn't go all the way across with the other line. Oh well.

I've been told this stuff is microfiber instead of fake suede, but I don't know about that.

As for the boots, I have the thread and I was planning on taking that and the material to an upholsterer and show them the boots to see what they can do. Would it be a problem to send you the thread and some material?

Actually I think they look better in the pics haha. They're not bad in person, until you get up close and look at the stitches.
