Rear tail lights
My rear tail lights have alot of little small scratches and scrapes. Wondering if anyone knew what was the best way to make the lights look better.
Maybe light wet sand the scratches away or is there a compound that may fill in the scratches. |
plastic polish may help. griott's garage sells that. maybe body shop or auto parts store has some too.

Use a string buff and plastic buffing compound. Or, if you don't know what you're doing, take your car to a professional detailer. I've had my taillights polished and they can make them look brand new.

i've heard toothpaste is good for taking out minor scratches (seriously)

This might help or it might not. http://jagvr4.8m.com/hrestore.htm
No matter what technique you choose to use you won't regret getting some 3m imperial hand glaze for your lights. |
here's a site for some top quality polishing products. http://www.sisweb.com/micromesh/
