I think that looks really nice. I'm interested in how you cut the hole for your boost controller.

Looks very nice!

MakoRacing 06-28-10 02:49 PM

Very nice, I like what you've done with your car.

Hammer... Very tasteful interior. Like the suede deep corn and redline stuff very much.

Gordon

Thanks Gordon, I'd love to continue the leather/stitching from the console into the entire dash and door panels too. You had your old dash and door panels covered, right?

MattGold 06-28-10 03:45 PM

Looks fantastic...

Nice. I've been looking at getting these at some point.

ksu-chewie 06-28-10 06:53 PM

off topic question, but where did you get the boost guage pod?

Looks good! I bought the Redline Console wrap too---just out of curiosity, did your's come folded, and if so how did you get the creases out of the leather?

mazdaverx713b 06-29-10 05:33 AM

actually looks very tasteful and extremely well done! thumbs up!

$lacker 06-29-10 06:14 AM

Yep, mine came folded with creases. I just laid it int he sun for 10 minutes, then applied it. The creases will go away when you smooth it all out.

purerx7 06-29-10 01:29 PM

What kind of adhesive did you use?

Viking War Hammer 06-29-10 01:46 PM

3M 90 Spray from Lowes.

staticguitar313 07-01-10 07:59 AM

^ 3M 90 adhesive FTW. Looks great man!

Fortune_Seven 07-01-10 12:39 PM

Looks great! waiting to put in the same kit. Ordered a piece to cover the rear divider as well and would love to be able to do more of the interior. As Gordon mentions, the stitching layout makes it tough.

TwinCharged RX7 07-01-10 02:41 PM

I love the steering wheel, I must have one. Any details on the model and where to get one?

Gabe175 07-01-10 09:04 PM

nice work

My trick was to open up a paper grocery bag, lay it over the leather, and then iron on high on the paper bag, with the leather console cover under it. By ironing it indirectly, it gets the wrinkles right out w/o damage.

David Hayes 07-04-10 03:51 PM

I just let the sun do the work for me regarding the wrinkles. They come right out after a day or so in the sun and in FL, that's easy to do.

I highly recommend the Redline leather products. Great quality and good prices.
