RE Sleek headlight covers
 

I have the Rotary Extremes poorly constucted head light kit. This kit came with a cheap lexan cover. I see that the genuine re covers are available from rhd japan for 275. was wondering are these contoured to flow with the lines of the car? Is there any option available that looks better than a flat sheet of lexan? Thanks in advance.

First off, The Rotary Extreme is not a poorly constructed kit, the only thing that is not good is the lexan cover.

To answer your question, yes it will fit as that is what I am using....

Why do you dog the kit and yet you still have it...sell it if you think that it is poorly constructed....

Evo-R here on the forum sell a lexan cover also, I use 'em with my RE-Amemiya kit.
The black is painted a little farther down the lens which i like and it's clear no purple hew to the lens like the RE-Amemiya lenses.

So, I guess when I offer these for sale again, I'll see if I can work on a better solution to the cover.

rotaryextreme, do you think you could replicate the lights with an air intake hole on each side? The ones that cost $1400 from RE-A? I really like those but I can't afford that shit haha.

Yes, the cover makes the lights look cheap. My biggest gripe was the hardware rust. I don't remeber how much I paid for them to replace all of it at the hardware store but it was not significant. I realize the hardware is hidden but Its still sub-standard in my opinion.

Use steel formed plates with more bracing instead of the aluminum plates. I had the kit, but ended up making my own steel structure and mounting arrangement because the structural stiffness was unacceptable. I can post video of what I'm talking about if you want.

Actually the only thing I retained out of the the kit was the bezzle and lights. See build process.
