Can they disassemble and assemble 3 piece wheels? The rivets need to be torqued back to the right amount of pressure or the wheel could collapse. If they can then I would definitely be interested in bringing them the wheels.

that place looks like they *may* be able to take your wheels apart they seem pretty hip with import tuners, but i would try to have a high end wheel shop that works with luxury cars handle the disassembly because they handle 3 piece wheels all day...

good job redoing that exhaust...although that bend on it is giving me a knot in my stomach, you should figure out a way to pull that out.

as for iwinulose im not sure how you can make a spacer out of any kind of composite or rubber because it would melt...im not sure if you get the idea of what were trying to make but imagine how a midpipe is constructed you have two gaskets with 3 inch tubing in between about 4 feet long |====| and imagine a little one where you have two gaskets and just three inches of piping |=| that fits between the midpipe and the catback...catch my drift? 3 inch stainless steel piping isnt any more stiff than the whole entire exhuast is itself. and id imagine a rubber washer inbetween the gaskets might remedy this problem if it comes up?

That bend is part of the exhaust. The exhaust has a pipe that comes out, then another piece is placed over that pipe. They then made 3 bends, and those bends are welded to the pipe, so that is how it is attached. Yep, I think I am going to do exactly as you suggest with the exhaust spacer.

Here is another picture of that piece, think of it as a decorative piece to cover up the pipe. Although, I do agree they could have done a better job of attaching it.

Alot of dough for the Works but well worth it. I love walking towards my car since putting polished s1 meisters on mine. Works will colour code the centre if you are so inclined. I thought about it but went with polished in the end. Love the thread.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I remember my old FD and man...it was really easy to take that thing apart with a few simple hand tools....*cough*...

I think Tom and I figured we could remove all pieces and leave a bare motor in about 10 minutes....

GET YOUR **** DONE BRYAN! LOL.

Depends how you think about it. Without wheels the car is impossible to steel. The car is just as easy to vandalize with wheels. Only think is that it leaves the brakes exposed, but not to many people know how to mess with brakes anyways. So IMO it isnt as dangerous as it appears.

Yah, the meisters are growing on me. Thought about doing them in polished, your fd was one of the reasons that solidified my meister purchase.

so after 6 weeks my authentic feed turn signal covers finallllly came in:

They still have a protective film over them, that is the reason for the peeling on the right. Going to get them tinted a little bit darker.

Dropped the wheels off on monday at the powdercoater. We decided on doing a super dark hyper black. It was a lot more then I expected, $50 to take each wheel apart, then $75 a wheel to refinish each lip, then $150 a wheel to powdercoat which was a total of $1100 . Then I think I decided today I am going to sell them and do a set of advan rs in satin black. Will see how the meisters look on the car first.

sp1's are made by ssr. I think you meant s1 which is made by Work and the wheels I have, they are 350z offsets 19x9.5 & 19x10.5 +23/+24 respectively. Have some michelin pilot ps2's with 50% thread for them too.

The color is complete custom andis something the powdercoater and I came up with, they have never done it before so I don't have any pictures of it. I will be getting the wheels back sometime next week and then I will test mount them on the car to decide if I am going to keep them.

Got everything mounted and on. The meisters came out SICK, absolutely perfect and exactly what I wanted, they are a very dark gunmetal, looks amazing. Need to get rid of the red lugnuts and order another set. Finally getting my car where I have always wanted it, just needs to be lowered and its finished. Trying to upload pictures.

Looks good, now you need the "work" stickers for the disk and "s1 meister" decals for the lip. If you can't get 'em RHDJapan used to carry them.
