Very nice, what brackets did you use? Have you got harnesses? I'd go with black belts, maybe Sabelt or Schroeth or Willans, but not green Takatas, they wouldn't match.

I would go with black carpet. Red would look pretty wierd if it got dirty at all.

For harnesses, check out this new company called "Crow" , they're an offshoot of Simpson racing belts, and prices are low because the name's not big yet:

I really like the look of their logo on the black belts.

It can be a PITA sometimes to do it this way, especially if you have alot of pics, but you just upload the file as an attachment in your post, then post it. THen, go back to your post and click on the link to the picture you attached to the post. Then copy that web address. Go to your post and click on edit post, then hit the IMG button above the place where you type and past the website that you copied. then save the changes to your post, and viola...

Also, your pictures where to big, so i opened them up in photoshop and saved them as jpgs....it sounds long, but it only takes a couple minutes and really makes it easier on members when viewing threads....

rzograbian 02-24-04 12:51 AM

mike, go ahead with the motor mounts and i will pick them up this weekend if people stop droping off/picking up lights! thanks for the refferal!

also, the guy already ordered rotor housings so its kinda not right to tell him to give it back.....

thanks

I always thought about getting sparco..

but seeing your bride just makes me wanna drool...
Too bad my car is red... Black and White matches red the most..

BigIslandSevens 02-24-04 01:08 AM

Are there any fitment issues with the door panels? Around the shoulder area?Or bottom? What is the seating angle like as well? They look really nice!

thanx bro ...the seats fit perfect the side bolster does not touch the door panel what soo ever!!!

seating angle can be adjusted 4 different angles

they only thing that im concerned about is that ,now i sit higher in the car!!

i want to lower it a bit but that means drilling new mounting holes on the bracket!!

thanx
mike

YEH I THINK ILL GO WITH BLACK

MAYBE SPIRIT R FLOOR MATS???? :D

Shinobi-X 02-24-04 10:40 AM

I would keep the rest of the floor; carpeting and mats black. You don't want to overdo the usage of red or black in a similar fashion to a checker board. They look great together, but try to keep the colors solid. IMO, I think the passenger cabin divider should remain red, while the floor remains black (perhaps red stitching on custom mats). They will balance each other for a stock look IMO.

apex_sideway 02-24-04 11:17 AM

How are those bride seats for daily driving? I heard that they were great for the track but they are too tight for daily use :( How are yours?

patfat 02-24-04 11:36 AM

THANX

TheCrazyAZN 02-24-04 02:40 PM

Hey, cool it with the caps please? I think we have enough yelling as it is in this forum... =P

Also, correct me if Im wrong and oblivious to something stupid but I think the seats are on the wrong sides.... The passenger should be on the drivers and vice versa.

I dunno if you noticed but each of the seats has a shoulder bolster that is shorter than the other. This is due to the fact that the seats sometimes rub against the inside of the door panel. My sparcos rub against the inside of my door. Soooo, the shorter bolster should be on the outside of the car and the longer bolster on the inside of the car for the Bride seats. Right?

It just seemed logical to me thats all, but if you arent having any fitment problems with that, then who cares?!? hahaha

They look great tho! Im jealous....

Huy :D

rotoboy661 02-24-04 03:27 PM

nah dude the side with the small bolster should be facing towards each other.. and the thats what it says in the instructions (detailed pics)...

thanx for the compliment

and its HOY!!!!! damn flips (lol)

im flip also

laters
mike

apex_sideway 02-24-04 04:38 PM

Hey! I'm half flip :D does that count? Haha . . . i got the too tight thing from the Sports compact car seat guide; they tested waist sizes 28-36 and everyone 32 and up said it was to tight . . . meh can't say anything because i've never actually sat in the seats.

rotoboy661 02-24-04 05:38 PM

well im waist 30 soo im good to go!!!

wow tot i was the onlee flip that owns a FD :D jk

nice to know that flips are FD owners as well
