NRG 2.5 quick release hub & 330mm personal neo grinta steering wheel
So i got my stuff in today and just installed it... quick release seems pretty nice... the button isnt exactly the easiest/ best design but its sufficient. i love the steering wheel minus that im an idiot and didnt research enough... its a smiggle small for my taste but ill just have to get use to it..
Steering wheel.. -awesome grip, the design contours are PERFECT for gripping @ 10 & 2 with your thumbs locking on the inside.. -the horn doesnt really fit with the nrg quick release... i think ill have to sand the horn button a little bit. -havent attempted to install the horn/ relay for the air bag light specs stock steering wheel/air bag (no clockspin) 9.4 lbs nrg 2.5 quick release, hub, 330mm personal neo grinta steering wheel, horn 5lbs pics when im not lazy and source a camera.. |
Did you get this to fit? What hub adapter did you use?

From his build pictures seems like he used the nrg short hub, that will not allow the stock clock springs to work unless you modify it :(

yep! got everything to fit and ended up selling it due to color change.
im now going to run the 2.5 again (black) and a personal pole position 350mm. im still waiting on the quick release so im not too sure which of the two (350 or 330) i will like more... |
get both :) the personal wheels aren't too expensive compared to nardi ones

david- im using the nrg short hub as well. it is plug and play super simple. i havent hooked up my horn since it never worked. i do however have hella horns that have taken me more than 2 years to install so maybe ill finally get to that ahahah:icon_tup: |

theyre not too expensive but they arent much cheaper than nardis. IIRC nardis are low 300. personal's are low 200. theyre about 2/3 the price. i dont see a point in owning multiple wheels so i sold the old one.. would be nice to have a collection tho.......!

The polyurethane personal wheels are around 100 -> 150. With 2 wheels it should last you a long time, leather does somewhat age better if you take of it.

mahjik thats very true, i thought about that but i havent even tracked my car yet and i cant really justify having two wheels, but for you, that makes tons of sense!
poly urethane ewwwwwww lol |
