N e 1 Keep Bose acoustic wave tube as a sub w/ new system?
Wanted to know if anyone hase installed a new sound system in their FD but kept the bose acoustic wave tub and ran it as their sub? How has it worked out? I'm thinking of runnig a good deck, replacement 4" speakers, a good 4 ch amp, and the bose tube thing.

i dont think the bose sub and amp works with a new headunit.

The tube gets its power/signal from somewhere Snip Snip :Kill2: Remember anythings possible, but the question is do your Really want to keep it when there are better things out there. SPL=cheap SQ=Spensive. Whats your goal with this system and how mutch you lookin to spend?? BTW what year is your 7

Well my goal is to have a decent system, nothing that can be heard a mile away, but is still has some power. Money is no object, but i dont feel like spending much cuz sound is at the bottom of the investment chain when it comes to my 7 ('93 pep). Ya think maybe like a small sub? 8"?

I had an Infinity Basslink in my other mazda and it was pretty impressive. For the price and size of it, I dunno if it can be beat!

I have a touring model also but I would think about putting 6.5" in the door instead of 4". You could get more bass out of the fronts that way and use the bose tube as filler sound.
