hi all thought i`d show my burnout rex. i`ve just sold it as i`ve decided to go a different direction of mod`s to my next rex.

wish now that i did it in a different colour , i did all prep work myself to keep costs down, next rex is gonna be super smooth with no kit.

harris2182 12-15-06 02:30 PM

sorry pictures are small, don`t know why?

apex_sideway 12-15-06 02:33 PM

Hmmm . . . .

Try linking them from a website like photobucket. The last one is a big pic.

again sorry for lack of image quality

paximus 12-15-06 04:25 PM

Hey man, at least you're sharing, no worries on the quality. Looks Great!! I think mine will be the first white one with the flared fenders :)

Again, when you get a chance to list your wheel specs, i'm eager to find out.

harris2182 12-15-06 04:25 PM

i`m useless with computers but the alloys are called ultralites front 8.5x18 et35 9.5 rears. i didn`t go for the full offset it could have handled because these were only gonna be temporary wheels and knew i could sell them on easy.

ZumSpeedRX-7 12-15-06 05:06 PM

wooooow. looks really good. is that roll cage legal for racing sanctions? i dont know how that stuff works in the UK, but i dont know if it would work for some sanctions in America.

harris2182 12-15-06 05:40 PM

its actually classed as a stiffening brace so it is fine for insurance and track purposes. its du-luck, really good fit

harris2182 12-15-06 05:42 PM

i`ll get these pictures sorted tomorrow for ya. my computer mates coming around mine

RE-Amemiya 12-16-06 06:47 AM

here`s some better pictures

goreify 01-04-07 03:39 PM

looks good! you plan on sticking with those wheels? you could go much more extreme and get a far better look/stance.

wanklin 01-04-07 04:24 PM

well done. the paint/body work look tight and clean

killswitch 01-05-07 07:37 AM

Definitely nice matey. Was it you who was looking to sell a while back? I know someone on MRC had a burnout kitted car for sale?

Agree on the wheels too...that kits cries out for some nice dished 18s IMO :) Don't have to be chrome or anything as that's a bit too bling for me.

b_zug 01-05-07 10:17 AM

where can you purchase this kit?

wptrx7 01-05-07 11:35 AM

Can you post a picture of where the rear fender flare meets the gas tank? Thanks in advance

Luigi

harris2182 01-05-07 01:49 PM

agreed on the wheels not being huge, i decided on this size for 2 reasons...
1 ease of selling on
2 ability to give the car power through bends.

over in the uk the roads are shit btw.

if i`d lowered it any more it would have ground out on every street. plus it did ground out going up my drive at more than 5mph

luigi, i`ll search for a picutre of rear flare

killswitch, yes that was mine for sale. its now just sold. ready for next project which will be much more extreme.

BenJaRank 01-06-07 04:55 PM

nice :icon_tup:

wanklin 01-06-07 08:25 PM

I'm not one to pirate a thread, but I have a set of the rear flares if someone wants them. $220 shipped.

cheers

BLOWNandTWISTED 01-10-07 12:52 AM
