Is it me or do my sideskirts not fit my car at all?

IMO, the side skirts do not suit the FD lines, they are too edgy and sharp.

exactly, I just sold my feed wing because of this thinking. I also bought myself an Esprit tail light cover, blends with the car much better

LT1-7,

I think it maybe the fitment of the sideskirt. The front bottom of the side skirt ( RIGHT behind the wheel) that part seems to jut out too much. Jut out as in "widening" the car. I think your body shop coulda pushed it in a bit more.

I think i see what youre saying about it. And pushing it in, maybe the fix? HTH

I dont get why pepole avoid the question and say what skirts you do like. He asked if it looks like they fit or not and look too big. Whats hard about that question?

I think it looks like they fit perfect. Your car is hot.

Why didn't you get the RMagic side skirts? Since I'm getting the same bumper and the sideskirts, if you sell the fenders I want dibs.

Neo, you're getting this front? You bastard!! So far I only know of one other FD in the states that has this front and it's one of the shop cars at Secret7.

If I did get the Rmagic sides, I'd have to repaint the fenders and the part behind the doors. I'm thinking of just using these sides for now and then have a totally different look next summer

LT1-7----most the parts you have, have nice smooth round corners, nothing really in the way of CORNERS, but the sideskirts are nothing but corners, so they do look a little out of place. I would only say they do because of the R-magic fenders since thats the only thing that offsets them from the sideview. So IMHO if you want a better flow, I would say change the fenders or the sideskirts..

Dont change the fenders! I love them. The front bumper is beautiful as well. I think the way you have the car set up is great (except for the sideskirts of course). If I could find the Front bumper for sale, I would be all over it.

Actually I think it's the front bumper that doesn't fit the side skirts....Kinda looses flow (coming from the back) when it hits the front bumper.

Well, I tried and they do look better now that they're all the same color. It still looks off so I'll just have to deal with it next year

tail light cover = sexy style? If it's the sexy style rear, was it carbon fiber, or regular plastic? I like how it sorta has a little flared look around the outtermost brake light, the part that has the "mesh" looking stuff.

Those sides are too blocky/clunky/aggresive given the rest of your kit. What is especially eyedrawing is the back of the skirt, and front around the vents, to a lesser degree. It comes out away from the body too much, look at the top of it. If it was not so thick, it would look better.

I did not mold the sides cause I know they are not permenant. I'll probably end up buying another set next year and mold on. I'm totally going to change the car next year. Same front, but the rest are going. Eveything will be molded. I'm thinking of painting white w/ green pearl. It's alot of work but I've always loved white FDs.

BTW, when shall we start your car James is converting his this coming spring

yeah.. that last pix is way better...

But in my opinion, what makes it not flow well is the combination of the front fender flares and the side skirt.

Seeing it again, the fender flares has a curvey line, while the side skirt, right under the fender flare has a straight line to it. What do you think

Anyways, I think your car way better in person than in the pix!

LT1-7,
Good looking ride, but I think the sideskirts do NOT go with the car. To put it one way, those side skirts would look good with similar front bumper and rear bumper. But as others have mentioned already it isn't the same theme as far as your car's overall smoothness in the front and rear.
