Is it a replacement mirror assy @ the windshield mount?
Or just a cover/sticker on the stock mirror?

Not a cover. It's a replacement Mirror. What you see is what you get.(car not included:D) My stock one is about too fall off. So this seems just come out in time. :cool:

my friend's '7 is missing a mirror...at least it's not working. whenever he drives i swear it's gonna swing off and it me in the face when i'm sitting passenger. it's extremely loose.

Really, just grow up and learn to live with it. Look around you, there are people everywhere around who you won't like from just what they look like, or act like before you ever meet them, but you can't do anything about it. This is a free world (well most of it) and this forum is free to anyone who wants to join, if they like RX-7's or not. As long as they don't cause much trouble. Theres no reason they shouldn't be able to post here.

How many of you guys really want it? Coz the only way to get the mirror is from Japan for now. If enough real buyers, I may start a group buy on the mirror. :D

I'll bite...call up Derrick @ Corksport. He imports quite a bit of stuff from Japan so we can throw these in his container. I only paid $200 or so to get my bodykit fom Japan, IIRC.

BTW, RX-7 Magazine lists the mirrors for 8400 yen which is around USD$65. Not bad.

While you're at it, import some damn Bride or East Bear adjustable seat brackets too! :rolleyes:

I have Sparco Pro2000. Bride has the adjustable brackets w/ sidemounts. I'm hoping they would fit.

The only reason why I would buy a carbon fiber mirror would be for its weight advantage.

Others can buy it for its aesthetic qualities. But, for me, that's rice.:p:

Even if it is lighter, how much can a mirror save? :D Think about it. You probably can save more weight by wearing lighter clothing. :D Anyway, it's a great replacement for those OEM mirror. My stock mirror is about to fall off. :D

this is not to save weight. i personally think it looks tight. call it rice if you want, but if it looks good, its fine with me. if you do something that makes your car look better, is it rice??

not ALL modifications must have a performance benifit ya know.

...oh yeah, and the lights behind the grill are pretty strong. I use them whenever I need more lighting...if my car didn't already have enough...

Those things are $100 more than the Bride/EastBear stuff!! I need the sliding feature for ingress/egress. Not too concerned about gaining headroom (think we get an inch or so cuz buckets have no or little padding).

I don't need it to slide. I'm the only one will drive this car. My only concerns are leg room and head room.


as for Node, the thing is you should work on getting the car first or learn how the RX-7 work. Not what parts(no performance) you going to get. It's a waste of time. Get a part time job and earn some money. Don't stay here all day. Or you will NEVER get any car. Don't just all talk. Do something about it.
