Don't do it. Maaco paint jobs are pretty damn bad. I've personally seen ones where they didn't remove panels, and didn't even strip the paint. They just sprayed over the existing paint. Needless to say, it chips and cracks pretty quickly, and looks like crap very soon. Good paint jobs are expensive...there's really now way around that.

You get what you pay for. If you want them to do a professional job they can, but it will cost more. It's as simple as that. My friends dad ownes a Macco and does everything from police cars to hot rods. If you want them to remove the panels they can, but obviously it will cost more.

Maaco sucks, don't do it.

Although I have seen a couple nice maaco jobs where the owner did all the prep work and just had maaco spray the car. Looks awesome and has held up for years.

almost all maaco stores are independently owned, meaning that some of them are great, and some suck ass. I got a paintjob at maaco a long time ago on my old toyota truck and it lasted 5 years. But still, production paintjobs are not perfect.
