low flip-up headlights...
 

besides knightsports, does anyone here know if there are any other alternatives to achieve that "low" flip-up look? or if another manufacturer makes a conversion kit, something in the area of how an NSX looks like with it's lights flipped up. thanks guys.

Do a search for sleepy lights or sleepy light kits. There have been quite a few people who have sucessfully tried their own conversion and done write ups on the board.

I believe Chuck @ Rotary Extreme was in the process of making his own version of the KS-style lights, but has since put the project on the backburner to free up time for his 99-front GB. He'll prob be back at it in 1/2 yr or so, I'd imagine.

for the free version, you could pull the headlight motor fuse when they're halfway up, but you'll lose the ability to put them all the way down. Its a good way to test out how it looks to make sure u like it tho...

thanks guys. i don't know about the fuse thing. there's this kid that lives near me who's
trying his hardest to create this "drift" car out of his dad's old 180. he did the same to his
headlights but like you said they never go all the way down.

On my FD, I cut the "up" signal wire on the selector button on the left of the instrument panel, then put a momentary switch in. I push the button, and tap the momentary switch until they're where I want them, drop them back down by hitting the dash button again. The best part is that regular function of the lights is in no way affected.

Of course this isn't safe to drive at night because I'm lighting up the ground three feet in front of me, but for the sleepy drift look during the day, it works.
