Well, I was going to go with a scoot hood, then changed my mind to a knightsports hood, then to the new RE hood, now I know I just want a carbon fiber hood. Why you ask? I was talking to my friend I've been tell you guys about that owns a body shop and he tells me why don't I just get my CF hood and have him spray the mystic paint over the CF. So, it will still be the same color as the rest of my car but when you look at the hood, you can still see through the paint and see the CF effect. The mystic paint he has is clear. You have to paint t he car black or dark grey and then go back to spray the mystic paint. What do you guys think? Just at the right angle the car will be all colored but once you move the hood turns back to black. I thought it was cool but it might just be an overkill

Can you get him to shoot a sample on a small piece of CF? Then you can check out the look before committing to the whole deal...

I think it would look sweet. I think regular CF and Mystic would clash just a little. Or at least I don't think the CF hood would look right with the rest of the car being Mystic.

here are some pics. doesn't look that nice since the panel I have is so strait it doesn't give off any cool effect. Either way, I don't think I'm going to do this to my hood, it's going to be an overkill.

I think it looks pretty sweet but on the car, I don't know. I would be conservative if I were you

Really different... I might be really cool with an all mystic colored car.

I hope not. I think it'll be too expensive for the honda boys to afford anyways. Sorry to sound like a **** but if you can afford a $6000 paint job, you can afford a better car than a honda. Anyways, here is a pic of the color I want

Pretty rare color I think and it's not that eye catchy

very nice colr in my opinion(the supra). and i think the carbon fiber would look cool in little spots but i dunno about the whole car. you never relaly know untill you see the whole thing done and then if you dont like it, well then thats 6k down the drain. so choose carefully

ha ha, not the whole car man. Just the hood. I could see how doing the whole car CF/mystic would be going way overboard

The first pic makes it look kinda scaley, like a fish or something.

I must say that I think that cf with mystic paint looks sweet. I think it'd be very cool as a hood. Just my 2cents. I just wish I had the money to get a basic repaint.
