Cant get away with it on a replica.

Also if you ever drive fast, you will need them..

I drove for a year without pins on a replica....then got 'em because i wanted it to be a little more solid.

yeah. I have the replica and teh hood scares me. Im looking for any other way to hold it down better myself.
It looks like there is no way out of it.
at speed it's real scarey, just driving around it's annoying cause it shakes all the time.

I use these Momo Hood pins w/my mazdaspeed hood.

You almost don't notice them (pic below) and they keep the hood from fluttering at high speeds.

I use sparco hood pins on my scoot hood and they are excellent quality.

Ditto with the Sparco

yeah you'll need them because they're light! but then again if it's a repilca it's probably reinforced w/ heavy mtal or something! so you probably don't need it! but you're never to safe!

When I get hood pins, Im going to see if I can use this style - super low profile, cheap at $20 a set, and locking

OOps available at JC whitney

Hate to dig up old threads but just thought I would post these...I just ordered them from Summit Racing so will see how they look and if I really want to install them...I chose these over the JC Whitney ones because they look like they are a bit flusher and don't rais up as much as the JCWs.
